Why Am I Doing This?

Having a personal website isn't just about showing off your work (although that's definitely part of it). It's a way to put your stamp on the internet, to share your ideas, your projects, and a bit of your personality with the world.

Throw in a blog, and now you’ve got a place to rant, ramble, and maybe even inspire a few people along the way.

Is That Really Why?

Okay, let’s be honest: that's only half the story.

The real reason? It feels like an essential rite of passage if you want to be taken seriously as a "Valley-style" software engineer.

Also... I recently applied for a job at Google. And deep down, there’s this irrational fear that if they find out I don’t have a personal website, they'll immediately reject me like, "He’s not one of us."

Well, here you go, Google: I HAVE A PERSONAL WEBSITE NOW!

(of course they’ll reject me regardless, but you never know!)

But Seriously...

I’ve also been itching to revive my old YouTube channel, and building this site gives me a way to stay accountable. If I have a home for my ideas, a place to actually write things down to then turn into videos, maybe it'll be easier to stay consistent this time.

Some topics I’m planning to dive into:

  • Programming
  • Web development
  • AI
  • Tech news
  • ...and whatever else I find cool.

I’m not making any grand promises, because last time I said I would post consistently... it didn’t exactly go as planned. 😅
(my last YouTube video was posted in 2019)

But I’m here now, and I'm giving it another shot. Let’s see where it goes!
